You will need dark brown & tan polymer clay, pastels, a toothpick, and a hard (prickly) paint brush & a soft paint brush.
First take a small piece of the tan clay and roll it into a ball.
Second, flatten the clay, but don't make it so flat that it's thin. Make sure it's still a little thick.
Next, scrape the clay with the end of the toothpick.
Do this all around the cookie so it looks like this.
Then get the hard (prickly) brush and repeatedly poke the top of the clay.
It should look like this when you're done.
Next, rub the soft paint brush on the light brown pastel color.
Then brush it onto the clay.
It should turn out like this when you're finished.
Then, rub the soft brush on the dark brown pastel (Wash the brush before doing this or use another brush if you're not a fan of mixing colors).
Next, brush it onto the clay like you did with the light brown pastel.
After that, it should resemble something like this. ;D Yay! All it needs now are some chocolate chips!!
Now take a tiny piece of the dark brown clay and flatten it.
And then break a tiny piece off with a toothpick.
Next, place it on, like so, on the tan clay in any place and repeat the steps. You can put as many chocolate chips as you want and wherever you like. Also, they dont all have to be the same size.
Then bake the cookie in the oven for as instructed on the clay's wrapper, and voìla! You have a bunch of non-edible miniature cookies! Feel free to use them as decorations or to use as charms!
